The new houses needed all new services including gas, electric and water supplies. A window was removed to make space for the new front door. The insides were then re-configured, adding a new staircase and building partition walls to create the new living areas along with adding glass roof extensions on the back of each property. All necessary planning, building control, sap calculation, sound, electric and gas safe certificates where obtained on completion of the project. Registering a new property on land registry and having a solicitor draw up new deeds so the properties are completely separate from one another. |
